Founder of 501(c)(3) graphic publishing company specializing in the development, production, and dissemination of historical non-fiction graphic literature to diverse readers in K-12 and other educational settings. Work to facilitate development of the organization and board leadership. Lead and facilitate all aspects of organizational operation with respect to content development and dissemination. Staff hiring and evaluations. Responsible for long range organizational direction and vision. 501(c)(3) compliance and reporting supervisory capacity.

The Mary Scott Community Orchard is a public-access orchard situated within a community food desert and situated close to several schools in Richmond, Indiana. The design of the orchard is designed to accomplish the following goals: 1)access to free seasonal fresh fruit for residents, 2) the presence of an outdoor classroom to teach ecology and food production, and 3) an inviting and unique area for residents to enjoy.  I successfully fundraised and campaigned for the site and organized groups of middle and high school students to build and install the site.

Responsible for program oversight at off-campus university locations and supervision of university personnel.  Coordination of academic dean evaluations.  Coordination of faculty research grant support and administration, faculty research colloquia and faculty professional development.  Coordination of faculty and student research funding programs.

Presiding officer of faculty senate for Indiana University East.  Serve as campus representative for wider IU system in working with other regional campuses and serving on the University Faculty Council Executive Committee and Regional Faculty Caucus.  Served as chair for campus agenda committee.

Directed the Master of Science in Education program for the School of Education.  Responsible for continued development of programmatic offerings.  Chair of graduate admissions committee.  Primary developer of materials related to recruitment and outreach.  Serve as graduate student advisor and research chair and/or committee member.  Responsible for collection, organization, and dissemination of program data for School of Education, Board of Advisors, and other stakeholders. 

Provide administrative oversight and leadership to Transition to Teaching Program. Evaluate all program applicants for admission to program. Facilitation of advisor contact for students new to program.

Provided administrative oversight for overseas study.  Facilitated proposal development and submission by faculty to take students for overseas study.  Communicated with Office of Overseas Study to facilitate recruiter visits to campus and stay abreast of all new policy developments within the Indiana system.  Evaluated scholarship applications as part of overseas study trips for students.
